i wake up and have my eggs, white only please, and three big slices of mango, thank you please. i listen to the drowning noises of the ocean, the wind on my face, watching a few dots of tiny black birds weaving around the towers in the distance. from where i'm sitting, i can see straight to the horizon, the sky is a soft blue, and sometimes there are tiny streaks of white clouds. when it rains, everything it gray, and the water against the rocks below me are the darkest. at night, sometimes there are thunderstorms and the sky looks light a giant cloud, black smoke, lightning striking and looking like it isn't even moving.

as soon as i walk in the door from work, i can hear it. feel like breeze moving across the apartment.
