i miss memories with every fiber in my body, it's in my fingertips right now flying over these keys to remember, to remember, to remember.

i'm getting used to the beauty of summer days, sleeping late, reading just because. staying out late everynight with friends, coming home and writing, reading bird by bird, dreaming stories, dreaming conversations, listening more to people without such strings, watching the lightbeams from windows.

in the everyday, every windsong, treebranch, blurredvisionredlight.

today at my little brother's awards ceremony i saw one of my best friends from seventh grade who had moved away to boarding school. and she gave me the biggest hug and we stood talking and catching up. and really, it was pretty nice.

i feel like the days are slipping away. only twelve days until i leave and i'm almost terrified, only because i've been getting so many emails about it and i wish it had been blind, meeting there instead over screens. someone sent a survey for us all to fill out and :/. just not my thing, how is a survey going to tell you anything about me?

in other news, tomorrow i am going to go pick up my new books, call john for. sure., play waterpolo for.sure., write sarah a letter, and start making some packages to send off before i leave.

right now i am thinking about//

+sam, listening to her cd. "i'm a sucker for your lucky pretty eyes."

+theboy, wearing his sweatshirt. "i keep on pushin farther away; he keeps telling me baby he says baby."

+thekids, just took out the alk3 picture cd out of the drive "i don't believe in your...do you want to find out"

+panama&myfamily, missing them so much. "princess fly away from here"

it's strange having so much time to think. it's strange and very, very nice.
