Its Saturday morning. You open your eyes to the sunlight flooding in your window. It doesnt even bother you today because today is the day you leave this all behind. This is what you think about as you get in the car. You cant stop smiling. You turn up the music and start singing along to Led Zeppelin. Its a straight shot down the palm tree lined 1-95 to Islamorada. You keep singing and smiling, turning the music up louder and speeding in the sunshine. The drive takes an hour, and you are the happiest youve felt in weeks.

You turn down the familiar streets and your grin widens as the yellow house appears. You cant wait to see the ocean. You get out of the car and walk up the stairs. You peer into the house and see the sunlight pouring in from the oceanside. You feel the excitement in your fingertips. You sit down in the wooden rocking chair for just a second and breathe in deep. You stand up, stretch your arms up to the sky, and walk around the house. You look out onto the bright green water gleaming in the sunshine and the palm trees waving hello. The yellow hammock is calling your name. You walk into the house and down the stairs. Your bedroom is on the left, and you walk into it. You lay down in your bed for just a second. You close your eyes and you feel like you are already dreaming. You open your eyes and you can see the ocean and the hammock and the dock from the window. Youre smiling a stupid grin and loving every second of it. You bounce up, throw open the French doors and inhale, taking in the scene. The visual images hit you all at once, all over again. You let your breath out so slowly its almost a sigh.

You have arrived.
