"I think the way to make someone fall in love with you is to introduce them to anything new, like how to cook the perfect omelete or where to go if you want to be silent like a river or maybe some kind of garden. Likewise the way you could avoid ever falling in love is to learn everything yourself. That way no one can work themselves into your permanent memory, your resevoir on how to live. That's what I think love is. Love is giving someone space enough in your mind that you can't take back."
