i am ten feet from the door to my apartment, laying on the grass in the sun. it's late afternoon, i am looking at palm trees, a boy just walked by me and i am listening to music and there is sand in my toes and the palm trees are waving and the sky is bright blue, a few clouds, the sun is in my eyes and i can feel it on my skin and this is just paradise.
