and the waves were crashing and i was running and running and turned back and it was gorgeous. the sky mixed with the water and we laughed and laughed and buried ourselves in the sand and took many, many pictures {which are captured forever as black and white in my mind}. we got sand and sand and sand in our bathing suits. it was so empowering that we could just WALK to the beach. that it was right there. everything has been wonderful. its been a nice change of feelings.
