Waking up and falling asleep and not being sure where I am, what phase of life I’m in. falling asleep feeling like the keys in winter. the hot days like summer in North Carolina before I even had my first degree. chilly Washington autumns after a rain, a pause of pollen. DC dates walking around museum and trying a new Michelin star. thinking about things on the horizon, not ignoring it, the grand possible future— but most of all:
